Hi guys, Happy Holidays, Happy Hanukkah, Merry Christmas, Happy Kwanzaa. Sending you so much love wherever you are.

I just wanted to remind you of the importance of meditation, and yes, during this time – even traveling, even being on the plane – closing your eyes, noticing your breath.

A couple of meditations that I would recommend for you to try. One is a Kundalini mantra that I learned from Gabby Bernstein, and it’s really simple. It’s called “Peace begins with me.” You simply press your thumb and your index finger lightly, then you move to your middle finger, “begins,” then you move to your ring finger, “with,” and then your pinky, “me.” so it’s peace begins with me. And you just close your eyes and take a half a minute, take a minute. See what feels good.

The other one is simply breathing in through your nose for four, and then just letting it out for one out through your mouth. Just try and see what happens.

You know it’s such a journey when we can find things to help us, and meditation is just a way to calm the energy. To unplug, just like when we unplug from our phones or if we are charging our phones, we need to do that for ourselves, that way you know we’re clear, and we’re conscious and mindful in the way we show up every day.

So let me know what happens. I love you guys, have the most magical, beautiful rest of the week. Namaste, peace out.

Mary Ann

Be sure to turn on the volume!

Hey guys, happy Wednesday and welcome back to #WednesdayWisdom. So, I first want to thank you so much for your feedback regarding the website! I was so overwhelmed by all the comments, all the emails. And I wanted to let you know that we did add the Spotify account, so if you go on the home page can you scroll all the way down and it will direct you right into the Spotify account.

Enjoy this time of the year and make sure that you practice, that you take care of yourself, and don’t try to do everything in the next few weeks… or I think it’s about a week and a half before 2020. Have some compassion, be gentle, notice what energy you take in, notice how you set your intention, and notice your thoughts throughout the day.

A book I highly recommend is “Super Attractor.” And it doesn’t mean, “Oh my gosh, I don’t have time to read right now!” But if you can, just take one chapter and just practice that throughout the day. Or you can get the audio. But take care of yourself.

Our thoughts are everything, and it can be very overwhelming because we have so much to do, and we have our family. The first thing is to take care of what is happening for you, so that way you can show up authentic. You can show up where you feel really good instead of feeling depleted. Stay mindful, and breathe.

I love you guys. Enjoy this beautiful magical time of the year!

Namaste, peace out.

It’s very easy to feel depleted and stressed out during the holiday season – sometimes we just take on too much, all at once. While it’s always important to prioritize self care, it’s even more critical these days when we need (and want!) to be fully present for our loved ones.

To help you stay healthy and happy during this time of year, I’ve got some amazing places in our local community you should definitely check out:

For some healthy food options, try:

Also, please don’t miss the VegFest at Mizner Park this Saturday, December 14!

Lastly, check out Yoga Journey’s meditation classes, 12:30-1:00pm Monday-Friday (no experience needed!).

Have a beautiful holiday season, and please, take care of yourself!

Sending lots of love,
Mary Ann

Hey guys, happy Wednesday, happy holidays and welcome back to Wednesday Wisdom. I first want to give a shout out to lululemon, I’m so loving the outerwear jacket! This is my second time wearing it, and it has kept me so warm, and it’s so cozy. So thank you so much!

I just wanted to remind you this holiday season to stay with practices that keep you centered, that keep you elevated. And, it can be simple. It can be writing, it can be taking 5 minutes to breathe in and breathe out, it can be creating something new in your life that you’ve been wanting to do. But this is a really busy time of the year and it’s important that you don’t neglect your routine, and neglect things that elevate you. Just like having a coach. You know, if there is something that you’ve been wanting to do, that you wanted to create in your life on a personal or professional level, create that.

There’s so many amazing amazing things that you can do, from coaches, to books. Books I highly recommend are “The Power of Intention” by Dr. Wayne Dyer, and the second one is Gabrielle Bernstein’s “Super Attractor”. Both of those books are amazing and it just helps you to manifest, and it helps you to create whatever it is that you’re looking for in your life. And especially yoga and meditation. It’s a way to look inward, it’s a way for us to see how we respond you know there’s patterns that we don’t realize that we’ve continued through our life. So take this time to make sure you stay with your routines. Let yourself drop in, let yourself take time to write and continue those rituals no matter how busy life gets or during this time of the year. It will help you make conscious choices. And if you haven’t had a yoga practice, it’s okay. Simply taking a child’s pose, simply closing your eyes and breathing in for 5 and exhaling for 5, that will change everything. Just try it and see what happens.

Enjoy the season and continue to be conscious of practices that elevate you, because that way you can stay centered, you can stay calm. I love you guys, and I just want to shout out to all the beautiful souls from this morning that always inspire me every week every day through your practice. And also I just wanted to remind you of how important it is to be aware of your mindset. You can manifest and you can create whatever it is that you want. We have those choices and just being aware there’s choices.

There was something that I wanted to create a few weeks ago, and I am beyond excited because it was presented to me just a few weeks ago and I am so honored to be collaborating with Kema Earth. It’s a line that is a spiritual line for men – and for women – but more for men. Because I find that they have their own journey and just a reminder to wear a bracelet or have a mala to help them stay centered and to help them on their path to elevate whatever it is that they’re working on.

So enjoy the holiday season! I’m always so honored and so grateful for everyone’s feedback. I love you guys. Happy holidays, namaste.
